ANTIQUE GEORGIAN FRENCH ROSE CUT DIAMOND BRACELET SILVER GOLD CIRCA 1780

An exquisite antique French bracelet from the late 18^th century claw set with an array of flat rose cut diamonds that have been foil backed to increase their sparkle. 

Each diamond has an irregular, none-spherical shape giving the bracelet a distinctive look and lots of character. They range from 0.60ct to 1ct with a total of approx. 15ct.

Each stone is claw set in a silver mount which is backed in 18ct gold with decorative chased workmanship across the bottom. It’s a rare antique find and complete with a newer 9ct gold box clasp which holds it securely around the wrist.
