A luxurious vintage bangle from the late 1930s featuring an enchanting cabochon moonstone (approx. 1.7ct), haloed by ten sparkling old mine cut diamonds, with four more chasing down each shoulder (approx. 2.8ct total). They’re extremely bright and full of life and sparkle, with superb SI1 clarity – H colour.

The mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and said to be a path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.

The piece is all solid 14ct gold and has developed a lovely patina with age. It’s held securely by a box clasp at the side and a new safety chain for added security.

It’s in exquisite condition and a standout piece, complete with a series of marks along the band that look to be of Hungarian origin.

We recommend you insure for £5,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
