An exquisite Antique late Victorian riding brooch featuring a Diamond Fox head with Ruby eyes in the centre of a horseshoe which rests on top of two riding crops entangled with a fine golden rope. 

Riding jewellery was popular in the Victorian era and was usually worn by women of social standing who partook in activities such as Riding or hunting and wore these pieces as a symbol of their love for the sport.

The piece is decorated with glistening Old Mine cut Diamonds throughout which are beautiful and bright with SI clarity – H/I colour and total to approx. 2ct in total. 

It displays stunning workmanship modelled in Silver and 18ct Yellow Gold. It’s a highly collectable piece and complete with a safety catch and long safety chain to hold it securely when worn.
