A wonderful Antique late-Victorian riding brooch dated Circa 1880. The piece depicts a riding crop topped with a three-dimensional Foxes head set with red Ruby eyes. 

Riding jewellery was popular in the Victorian era and was usually worn by women of social standing who partook in activities such as Riding or hunting and wore these pieces as a symbol of their love for the sport. 

The piece is fashioned in 9ct Yellow/ White Gold with lovely textured detailing. It's a highly collectable piece and complete with its original fitted box from A.B. Simmons of Folkestone.
