A stunning antique star brooch made in France in the early 20th Century. It’s adorned with dazzling old mine cut diamonds down each of the stars six points, with six more branching out in between. They’re exceptionally bright with excellent SI1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 2.3ct total.

Celestial jewellery became increasingly sought after during the 19th and 20th Century as people began to look up at the stars and heavens once more with renewed fascination. Stars were a popular lucky charm to be wished upon and said to guide us on the path to our dreams and our true destiny.

The piece is modelled in solid platinum and is fitted with an 18ct rose gold pin screwed to the back, complete with French hallmarks. It will look magnificent pinned to a lapel and the diamonds glisten as bright as the star it depicts.

We recommend you insure for £4,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
